National Blood Symposiums 2013

National Blood Sympousims September 2013 Sydney Melbourne Adelaide

The 2013 National Blood Symposiums were hosted by the National Blood Authority (NBA) and the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC). These one day events were held in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide to support Australian health providers in implementing Standard 7 Blood and Blood Products of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.

The NSW Clinical Excellence Commission, and South Australian and Victorian health departments also locally supported the symposiums in their state.

Local and national speakers were engaged to present and showcase best practice in blood management across the country. The program and recordings and transcripts of presentations are now available below. To navigate directly to presentations in a particular city use the links below.
