BloodNet Specifications for Interfacing

There are a wide range of LISs in use across Australia and to achieve interfacing there is only one BloodNet LIS Specification. All future interfaces between BloodNet and LISs will only be permitted to be provisioned using the National Blood Authority published LIS Interface Web Service API Specification.

Once the verification tests are completed successfully; the vendor will be issued with the LIS production service account and credentials enabling them to begin any implementations with facilities or organisations that are ready to be BloodNet LIS interfaced.

The newest BloodNet LIS specification was created in joint consultation with several LIS vendors to achieve the necessary requirements and functionality.
