Who is collecting your personal information?

Your personal information is being collected by the National Blood Authority (NBA).

Why is the NBA collecting your personal information?

Your personal information is being collected for the primary purpose of managing the NBA’s functions and activities, either:

  • as communicated to you by host of the Microsoft Teams (MS Teams) meeting or otherwise; or

  • keep a record of the meeting for evidentiary purposes.
  • reduce the need for staff to make detailed meeting minutes during the meeting.

Personal information may also be used for other purposes. In the event the personal information will be used for another purpose, the host should discuss this at the beginning of the meeting. Alternatively, the use of personal information for another purpose may be set out in the invite to the meeting.

What would happen if the NBA did not collect your personal information?

If you do not consent to the NBA recording the meeting, you will not be able to participate in the meeting.

Who will the NBA disclose your personal information to?

The host may discuss any disclosures to third party recipients at the start of the meeting or this may be otherwise be communicated to you at a different time.
